Roadmap
Where the project stands, and the order things happen in. Dates are not promised — the order is.
Where the project stands
The server host is in development. Test sessions run on a single machine, and the dev blog carries the notes: what held up, what fell over, and what gets rewritten next.
The order of things
- Finish the first playable server host build, for solo and small-group worlds.
- Open the vetted community server list, with the criteria published for comment.
- Write the launcher and the documentation alongside the host.
- On the day the official servers close: publish the source on the public git.
- After the sunset: release the launcher and the server host for everyone.
Why we wait
Releasing while the official servers are online would split a community we're part of, and invite trouble we don't want. So nothing is released until the sunset, and everything is ready the day after.
The full source goes public on the day the official servers close.
Until then the repository is private, and development happens in the open on Discord and in the dev blog.
